Opt-In Evidence
LyonTech AI operates an SMS automation platform that sends text messages on behalf of small service businesses — including HVAC contractors, plumbers, electricians, restaurants, and other trade businesses. Consent to receive SMS messages is collected by those client businesses at the point of service, using the two methods documented below.
Method 1 — Point-of-Service Intake Form
Client businesses collect the customer's phone number and explicit SMS consent during service intake, either verbally or via a written form. A representative example of the intake-form disclosure is shown below.
Method 2 — Missed-Call Text-Back
The second consent pathway is based entirely on a customer-initiated action:
Because the customer placed the call, the outbound SMS is a direct reply to contact they initiated. The message identifies the business by name, acknowledges the missed call, and always includes opt-out instructions (reply STOP). No unsolicited outbound messages are sent without a prior customer-initiated action.
Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of all messages. Reply HELP for help or contact jack.lyontech@gmail.com.
